We spent the morning in the Oxford clay pit.

After lunch we visited the old quarry where Kings Dyke nature reserve had been developed.

Some samples of fossils which had been found in the brick pits.

The leader explained what the animals looked like with the aid of plastic models

A mold of a dinasaur's skell found in the pits.

Looking for our own fossils

Some ammonites we found

The nature reserve

The brick works which make it all possible.

The clay contains so much organic material that it is able to burn its own fuel making them very green bricks
